Day 1 of FIG World Cup finals kicks off in Baku (PHOTO)
The first day of the FIG Artistic Gymnastics Individual Apparatus World Cup finals has kicked off at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku.
Men will be competing in floor exercises, parallel bars and rings, while women will be competing in vault and uneven bars on the first day of the FIG World Cup finals in artistic gymnastics.
Azerbaijan is represented by Murad Agharzayev in men’s floor exercises and parallel bars.
Yulia Inshina, Ekaterina Tishkova represent Azerbaijan in women’s uneven bars, and Marina Nekrasova - in vault.
A total of ten sets of medals will be awarded at the competitions.
The FIG Artistic Gymnastics Individual Apparatus World Cup finals will end Mar. 19. Gymnasts from 23 countries take part in the FIG World Cup in artistic gymnastics, which is hosted by Azerbaijan for the second time.
