National taekwondo fighters to vie for medals at Dutch Open

Azerbaijani taekwondo fighters will compete in the Dutch Open tournament to be held in Eindhoven, the Netherlands on March 11.
Azerbaijan’s squad includes 28 fighters.
Among them are Olympic champion Radik Isaev (+87 kg), Milad Harchegani (80 kg) and Patimat Abakarova (53 kg).
Taekwondo is one of the most popular sports in Azerbaijan. The National Taekwondo Federation has trained many prominent athletes since its founding in 1992. Many of those athletes now enjoy international recognition.
