FIG World Cup finals kick off in Baku
The second day of the new Olympic cycle’s first World Cup in Trampoline Gymnastics and Tumbling has kicked off at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku.
The finals in men’s and women’s individual and synchro pairs programs in trampoline gymnastics and tumbling are taking place Feb. 19.
In the finals, Azerbaijan will be represented by Ilya Grishunin and Oleg Piunov in men’s trampoline synchro pairs programs and Sviatlana Makshtarova and Veronika Zemlianaia – in women’s trampoline synchro pairs programs.
Ilya Grishunin will also take part in the trampoline individual programs in the World Cup finals.
Azerbaijan will be represented by Mikhail Malkin on the tumbling track.
Eighty-five gymnasts representing 15 countries are taking part in the World Cup.
