Four Azerbaijani chess players to compete at European Rapid and Blitz Championships
Four Azerbaijani chess players will compete at the European Rapid and Blitz Championships to be held in Estonia from December 15-18, Azertac reported.
Teymur Rajabov, Arkadij Naiditsch, Rauf Mamamdov and Ulvi Bajarani will vie for medals at the championships.
Currently, nearly 550 players from 30 federations signed up for the rapid event and nearly 500 for the blitz event, including 80 grandmasters.
