Kazakhstan OKs loan agreement with IBRD
Kazakh president Nursultan Nazarbayev has signed the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On ratification of the Loan Agreement between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD)", the president's press service reported on February 5.
As per the agreement, the loan worth $100 million is extended for financing of the project on development of occupational skills and stimulation of creation of new jobs.
The Loan Agreement was signed in July 2015. The Agreement aims to improve the results in the field of employment and labor skills of the target beneficiaries and improve the relevance of technical and vocational education and training and higher education programs.
