Turkmenistan drafts document on population’s employment
The Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan discussed the ongoing work on employment of the population at a meeting, the government reported.
A draft on “The procedure of rendering services in Turkmenistan on registration of job seekers, and their employment” was prepared based on the legislation.
In May 2015, the Turkmen leader approved the program to improve the employment sphere and create new jobs in Turkmenistan for 2015-2020 and an action plan for its implementation.
This program includes a series of measures, including the modernization of the legal framework in this area. There are institutions in regions of the country, the main task of which is to register job seekers, study the labor market and the demand of employers, and render assistance in employment of citizens.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhammadov at the last governmental meeting focused attention on solving issues of further improvement of the employment policy, the way of rendering the corresponding services and employment of citizens.
