Moscow and Dushanbe agreed on the supply on 830,000 tonnes of
petroleum products to Tajikistan in 2016 with no export tax, Tajik
Minister of Energy and Water Resources Usmonali Usmonzoda said
Thursday, Sputnik
reported.
"This year, Russia plans to provide Tajikistan with 830,000 tonnes
of petroleum products without paying export duty. In particular, it
is planned to import 260,000 tonnes of petrol, 310,000 tonnes of
diesel fuel, and other Russian petroleum products," Usmonzoda told
reporters.
The minister said Tajikistan imported 576,000 tonnes of Russian
petroleum products in 2014 and some 560,000 tonnes in 2015.
