Strong quake jolts Central Asia

A strong earthquake has jolted the Central Asia today. Particularly, the strong quake measuring 7.2 points on Richter scale in Tajikistan and also was felt in Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.
The epicenter of the quake was located 460 km away from Tashkent and 92 km away from Murghab district located in Tajikistan.
The earthquake was felt by residents of the Uzbek capital of Tashkent and other cities throughout the country at 12:50 local time.
The European Mediterranean Seismological Centre has said the tremors measured 7.2 on the Richter scale at the earthquake’s epicenter in Tajikistan.
The tremors in Tashkent measured 3 points, the Tashkent Seismological Station reported.
