Tajikistan expands trade with Kazakhstan, Russia

Tajikistan takes steps toward the trade and economic cooperation with Kazakh and Russian enterprises in the fields of production and implementation of agriculture products at the level of small-and large-scale business due to signing a range of agreements and contracts on cooperation with foreign companies.
The documents were signed following the International Exhibitions of agriculture and food industry KazAgro / KazFarm - 2015 held in Astana, Kazakhstan in October 27-29.
A long-term contract on cooperation between Dusty production cooperative and STS-service Russian company was signed within the International Exhibitions.
Moreover, Dusty cooperative also signed an agreement on cooperation with Agro Climate LLP of Kostanay city, Kazakhstan.
According to the agreement, Agro Climate will supply to Tajikistan refrigeration equipment and systems for vegetable storage.
The Exhibitions has also provided good opportunities for private entrepreneurs such as beekeeper H.Boboev, who signed a short-term contract with a private entrepreneur of Astana B.Suraganovym.
In accordance with the contract Tajik beekeeper will supply five tons of honey and lemon to Kazakhstan.
In addition, Metallurg LTD company has signed a contract on supplying of pumpkin jam, quince and lemon and tomatoes to Kazakhstan.
Currently, the chain stores of the Kazakh capital of Astana are in negotiations on supplying three sorts of Tajik apples and grapes on regular basis.
Agriculture is one of the main directions of social and economic development of Kazakhstan.
Therefore, the International Exhibition KazAgro on agriculture and food industry and International Exhibition KazFarm on farming and meat and dairy industry play significant role in the development of agricultural industry in Kazakhstan.
