France’s CIFAL, Turkmenistan set co-op priorities

Turkmenistan’s President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the French company CIFAL’s Chairman and CEO Gilles Remy exchanged views on the long-term fruitful partnership prospects during a meeting in Ashgabat, the Turkmen government said in a message June 30.

The parties, among the partnership priorities, pointed out the fuel and energy sector, the construction infrastructure and the transport sphere, said the message.

The CIFAL head informed the Turkmen president about the progress in the earlier given instructions on the development of cooperation, including the implementation of major projects in the oil and gas sector.

Remy also gave assurance that his company will continue to strictly meet the undertaken commitments.

He highlighted the aspiration of CIFAL to further develop the long-term mutually beneficial business partnership with Turkmenistan.

CIFAL has been operating in the market of Turkmenistan for over 20 years.

In general, the French companies are well represented in Turkmenistan in areas such as construction, transportation, tourism and power industry.
