KazTransOil records rise in profits
The net consolidated profit of KazTransOil group of companies of Kazakhstan for Q1 2015 totaled 20.561 billion Kazakh tenge (185.8 tenge = $1 ), or over 4 times higher than for 3 months in 2014, the company reported.
The consolidated revenue of KazTransOil for 3 months of 2015 amounted to 53.568 billion tenge, or 18 percent higher than in Q1 2014, the message from the company said May 21.
“The revenue growth comes from the increase in export tariffs from April 1, 2014 and the reorientation of some oil volumes from the domestic market to exports in Q1 of 2015,” said the message.
KazTransOil JSC is the subsidiary of KazMunaiGas JSC national company and the national operator of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the main oil pipeline. The company manages a network of main oil pipelines stretching over 5,700 kilometers and water pipelines over 1,900 kilometers long.
