Tender for power plant construction in Western Georgia announced
Georgia's Energy Ministry has announced a contest for the
expression of interest to carry out feasibility study,
construction, owning and operating the power station on the
Humpreri river in the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region of Georgia.
The contest has been announced upon the Geo Hydro Capital Group's
application, said the message of the ministry, Novosti-Georgia
reported.
The message said those interested of construction of the power
station on the river, must provide relevant information to the
ministry. The deadline for sending the documents is on May
15,2015.
The set capacity of the power plant will be 37.4 MW and annual
electricity - 153.3 million kWh. The presumed investment cost of
the project is $42.6 million.
