Turkish company intends to invest in Georgia

A well-known Turkish textile company revealed its plans to make investments in Georgia.

Representatives of the Kaya Group met Georgia's Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili to discuss the investment project, which serves the Kaya Group's aim to produce textile goods in Georgia and export it to European Union markets.

"We believe that the joint projects will enhance our economic relations in the upcoming years and we will discover new opportunities of business cooperation through that partnership,” Garibashvili said.

Garibashvili mulled Georgia's favorable business environment with the Turkish businessmen, as well as highlighted the opportunities for potential investors, noting that Georgia has one of the leading positions in the world’s influential rankings in terms of doing business.

The two sides also talked about the friendly political relations between Georgia and Turkey.

On its website Kaya Group said it aimed to produce high-quality textiles to represent Turkish textile successfully in the world market with its quality standards and service conception.
