Azerbaijan, Bulgaria mull interparliamentary ties
Azerbaijan- Bulgaria interparliamentary relations mulled as
Azerbaijani ambassador to Bulgaria Emil Karimov has met Speaker of
the Bulgarian National Assembly,AzerTag state news agency
reported.
They praised Azerbaijan-Bulgaria ties in this sphere, and stressed
the role of interparliamentary friendship group in the development
of bilateral bonds.
Recalling her visit to Baku, Tsacheva spoke of the relations based
on historical roots, and praised the development of the
interparliamentary cooperation.
Hailing the activity of the interparliamentary friendship group, the speaker expressed hope that these close ties would continue to expand.
The diplomatic relations between Bulgaria and Azerbaijan were established in June 1992. Political, economic, scientific, technological and cultural relations are developing rapidly.
The legal base of the two countries includes over 40 documents.
There is huge potential for the development of economic relations and increasing the trade turnover between the two countries. The two countries can find point of contacts in industrial, tourism, and humanitarian fields.
