NATO Secretary General, Georgian PM to meet in Brussels
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg will meet with Georgian
Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili in Brussels on November 17,
Georgian Foreign Minister Maia Panjikidze told reporters Oct.
29.
"The meeting will take place on November 17 when a Georgian
delegation led by Garibashvili arrives in Brussels to attend the
first Georgia-EU associated council," she said.
Stoltenberg said that Georgia is a reliable partner of the alliance
and he expects to meet with Garibashvili.
A package of measures was approved during the NATO Wales summit to
facilitate Georgia's joining the alliance.
A training center for NATO servicemen and partner-countries of the
alliance is planned to be opened in Georgia as part of a package of
measures.
