Iran to up medicine export to Russia

Iran plans to export $120 million worth of medicine to Russia over the next three years, Iranian Vice President for Science and Technology Soren Sattar said during his visit to.

Currently, the total value of medicine exports from Iran to Russia is $30 million annually. Among them are sclerosis and cancer medicines, Iribnews reported.

Sattar said that Iran ranks seventh in nanotechnologies in the world. "Iran has achieved some success in the production of new medicines and intends to cooperate with Russia in this area," he said.

During his Russia visit, Sattar was accompanied by the experts in the field of medicines, medical and nanotechnologies, as well as the oil and gas sector.

During the visit, the meetings were held with Russian officials.
