Turkmenistan, Slovenia boost co-op

Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Slovenian Foreign Minister Karl Erjavec discussed the issues of interstate cooperation

The Turkmen government reported that the agreement was reached for establishment of an intergovernmental commission, designed to facilitate the early successful implementation of all plans.

The sides talked about the activities of Slovenian companies, including pharmaceutical firms, the opportunities for cooperation in the field of telecommunications technologies and supply of various equipments.

It was confirmed that Turkmenistan intends to continue developing successful partnership on bilateral and multilateral bases, including through international organizations and within the framework of a constructive dialogue with the EU countries, according to the message.

Erjavec said that Slovenia is observing the current rapid rise and spectacular achievements of friendly Turkmen state with interest and admiration.
