UK, Georgia expand coop in military education
The National Defence Academy of Georgia and the Military Academy of the United Kingdom signed a Memorandum on mutual cooperation on September 17.
The Georgian Defense Ministry reported that the document was undersigned by the rectors of these higher military schools Zurab Agladze and Peter Watkins.
Under the memorandum, meetings between the academies will be held intensively, what provides for the development of skills of administrative and academic staff.
The development of military and civilian programs will begin, as well as exchange of ideas in relation to quality management and educational methods.
The personnel of the academies will exchange recommendations on preparation of publications.
The memorandum also provides for the provision of language training and conducting of trainings by specialists.
