IAEA can continue supervision of Iran's nuclear activities without any obstacles, Iran's ambassador to IAEA Ali Asghar Soltanieh said, Mehr news agency reported.

Following the latest IAEA report by the agency's chief, Yukiya Amano, Soltanieh said that the report shows Iran's nuclear activities being successful and the program is progressing.

He went on to say that the bilateral cooperation between Iran and IAEA will continue.

Regarding the increase of centrifuges and installing new generation centrifuges at the Natanz plant in Iran, Soltanieh said it shows the unstoppable progress in Iran's nuclear activities.

On Feb. 14, Iran announced that It has installed new, 5th generation centrifuges at Natanz nuclear research facility. Previously, Natanz facility had 1st generation centrifuges installed, which were being substituted by the new ones.

The U.S. and its Western allies suspect Iran of developing a nuclear weapon - something that Iran denies.

Western concerns about Iran are focused largely on uranium enrichment plants at Natanz and Fordow, as such material refined to a high level can provide the fissile core of an atomic bomb.

Iran has on numerous occasions stated that it does not seek to develop nuclear weapons, using nuclear energy for medical researches instead.

Despite the rules enshrined in the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) entitling every member state, including Iran, to the right of uranium enrichment, Tehran is now under several rounds of UN Security Council sanctions for turning down West's calls to give up its right of uranium enrichment.
