Kazakh PM’s visit to Poland postponed
The visit of Kazakhstan's Prime Minister Serik Akhmetov to Poland, which was planned for mid-May, was rescheduled for a later date, the official of the Central Communications Service under the President of Kazakhstan, Altai Abibullayev said on May 20.
"The official visit of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Serik Akhmetov to Poland really was planned. However, the visit got postponed for a later date by agreement of the parties and given the tight schedule of the Prime Minister," Abibullayev said at a briefing.
He stressed that there is high confidence between Kazakhstan and Poland as well as active cooperation in the economic, political, industrial and innovative development.
"Poland is one of the important partners of Kazakhstan in the European Union. There is a very high level of trade and economic cooperation between our countries and strong cooperation between the parliaments of the two countries. We hope the parties will be able to identify the new date, and the visit will successfully take place at the highest level," Abibullayev said.
