Uzbekistan, China discuss cooperation in Shanghai Cooperation Organisation
Representatives of the Foreign Ministries of Uzbekistan and China has held discussions during regular bilateral consultations between the two ministries over cooperation between the two countries in the framework of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO).
In addition, the process for the preparations for the upcoming meeting of the SCO scheduled to be held this year was discussed, the Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan reported.
According to the report, the delegation of the Foreign Ministry of China is headed by the deputy director of Europe and Central Asian Affairs Department of the ministry, Su Fang Qu.
During the political consultations held in Tashkent, the parties exchanged their views on the further development of Uzbek-Chinese relations, including the schedule of upcoming contacts at different levels.
The meeting was attended by Chinese Ambassador to Uzbekistan, Zhang Xiao.
