Trade turnover between Kazakhstan and EEU countries up

The trade turnover between Kazakhstan and the states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) amounted to nearly $14 billion in January-October 2017, which is 28 percent more than in the same period of 2016, the Committee on Statistics of the Ministry of Economy of Kazakhstan said in a message.
The value of exports of the EEU countries in the reporting period amounted to $4.1 billion (32.1 percent higher than the same period last year), value of imports amounted to $9.8 billion (26.5 percent more than in the mentioned period).
At the same time, the total value of Kazakhstan’s trade turnover with Russia accounts for 92.2 percent of the total trade turnover with the countries of the EEU. Kazakhstan’s trade with Kyrgyzstan accounts for 4.3 percent from the total amount of trade with the EEU countries and with Belarus it accounts for 3.5 percent accordingly.
