Turkey may continue military operations in northern Syria - deputy PM

Turkey doesn’t exclude holding of a new military operation in Syria’s city of Afrin, Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Bekir Bozdag said, the country’s media reported on November 30.
Bozdag said that Turkey is primarily interested in events taking place in northern Syria.
He noted that Ankara will not allow creation of a new state in northern Syria, near the southern borders of Turkey.
On October 25, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that new military operation may be held in Afrin.
Turkey has been moving military equipment to its border with Syria since June 21.
Military equipment was deployed in Turkey’s south-central province of Kilis, which borders Syrian territories controlled by YPG and PYD.
