Vienna hosts OSCE Chairmanship Business Conference 2017

A two-day OSCE Chairmanship Business Conference 2017 titled “Partnership and Innovation for Sustainable Economies” kicked off in Vienna, Austria, on Jan. 25, said a message posted on the official twitter account of Austria’s OSCE Chairmanship 2017.
The aim of the conference is the further strengthening of economic partnership in the OSCE area, according to the message.
The international conference offers a unique opportunity for participants to establish business contacts during the B2B meetings.
Main topics of the conference are green technologies, new environmental technologies and hydro power, as well as the ICT.
This event is organized on the occasion of Austria’s 2017 OSCE Chairmanship by the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber, in partnership with the Austrian Federal Ministry of Science, Research and Economy (BMWFW), the Austrian Federal Ministry for Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs (BMEIA), the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) and Enterprise Europe Network Austria (EEN).
OSCE Secretary General Lamberto Zannier and Austria’s Federal Minister for European and International Affairs Sebastian Kurz are taking part in the conference.
OSCE Chairmanship passed from Germany to Austria on Jan. 1, 2017.
