Kazakhstan, UAE ink several documents

Kazakhstan and the United Arab Emirates signed a number of documents within the talks of Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in expanded format on January 15, the presidential press-service reported.

Nursultan Nazarbayev is on official visit to Abu Dhabi.

In particular the two governments signed an agreement on mutual provision of land for free use in Astana and Abu Dhabi for the needs of the Kazakhstan Embassy in the UAE and the UAE Embassy in Kazakhstan.
Moreover the parties signed a protocol to amend the Agreement between two governments on mutual visa-free regime for diplomatic passports holders.

Kazakhstan’s Religious Affairs and Civil Society Ministry and the General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments of the UAE signed a Memorandum of Understanding.

Moreover a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation was signed between "ASTANA EXPO 2017" and "EXPO DUBAI 2020" Bureau and between the regional authorities of Mangistau region and UAE DP World FZE company.

Foreign Ministries of the two countries signed a Memorandum of Understanding on establishing a joint commission on consular issues; Kazakhstan’s Investment and Development Ministry signed a Memorandum of Understanding with UAE Economy Ministry on tourism cooperation; and Kazakhstan’s Investment and Development Ministry signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the UAE Federal Agency for Land and Water Transport on international road transportation of passengers and cargo.

Within the meeting Nursultan Nazarbayev the Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan discussed the issues of bilateral cooperation in trade, economic, investment, energy, cultural and humanitarian spheres and topical international issues.
