SOCAR opens 110th filling station in Georgia

The number of filling stations of Azerbaijan's state energy giant SOCAR reached 110 in Georgia, SOCAR reported.
With the opening of a new filling station in Batumi, the total number of SOCAR gas stations in Georgia reached 110 and LNG stations reached 16.
SOCAR is the sole producer of oil products in Azerbaijan, its balance sheet includes two oil refineries and the company also owns filling stations in Azerbaijan, Georgia, Ukraine, Romania and Switzerland.
The company plans to increase the number of petrol stations in Georgia to 120 by late 2014.
