SOCAR exec: 300 million tons of oil produced at ACG field
Nearly 300 million tons of oil have been produced under the project for the development of the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli (ACG) oil and gas fields so far, the first vice-president of Azerbaijani state oil company Khoshbaht Yusufzadeh said on Tuesday at an event dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the national leader Heydar Aliyev.
According to him, of the total volume of oil, there were 152 million tons worth of profit oil.
According to Yusufzadeh, the second major achievement after the signing of the "Contract of the Century" in 1994 was the construction of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline. Thus, according to him, the BTC transported 215 million tons of oil from the total volume produced by the ACG.
