Egypt offers to launch Baku-Sharm el-Sheikh direct flights

Egyptian Tourism Minister Hisham Zazu has offered to launch a charter flight between Baku and Sharm el-Sheikh.
He made the suggestion at a meeting with visiting delegation of Azerbaijan's Culture and Tourism Ministry.
Heads of the Egyptian airline Air Cairo, Eg-Az tours Company that aims to expand and develop the Egyptian-Azerbaijani relations, representatives of Masters Travel Service, one of the three largest travel agencies in Egypt, as well as embassy staff, also attended the meeting.
The Azerbaijani side provided information on the country's tourism sector, and stressed on the importance of cooperation in this area between the two countries.
Zazu, for his part, noted issues arising from the Memorandum of Understanding between the governments of Azerbaijan and Egypt, and gave instructions to the Heads of Departments of Egyptian Tourism Ministry.
The possible visit of the Azerbaijani media's representatives to Egypt was also discussed at the meeting.
The Azerbaijani delegation was on visit to Egypt on August 23-28. The delegation was headed by the ministry's director for Tourism Department Aydin Ismiyev.
Invited by Egyptian Tourism Ministry, the delegation visited different Egyptian cities and was briefed on safety measures and tourism facilities.
Several meetings were also held during the Azerbaijani delegation's visit to Egypt.
