President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has presented the Dostlug Order to President of ELPIDA Association and Marianna V. Vardinoyannis Foundation, UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador, Marianna Vardinoyannis.
President Aliyev said that Vardinoyannis was awarded the Dostlug Order in December 2017 for her merits in development of friendly relations between Azerbaijanis and Greeks.
President Aliyev appreciated Vardinoyannis’ activity in the promotion of universal values and awarded her with the Order.
Expressing gratitude to President Aliyev for the Dostlug Order, Vardinoyannis added that with great interest she observes the activity of President Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva in strengthening international cooperation.
Vardinoyannis appreciated the support of Mehriban Aliyeva for international projects.
