Ulke TV, one of the authoritative news channels in Turkey, aired a report about the upcoming presidential election in Azerbaijan.

The report features facts proving that a lot of work was carried out for Azerbaijan’s development under the leadership of Ilham Aliyev, elected as the country’s president in 2003 by the absolute majority of people. It is emphasized that over the past period, Azerbaijan has achieved great development in politics and economy thanks to President Ilham Aliyev.

It is noted that President Ilham Aliyev attaches great importance to the development of economy and industry in Azerbaijan. For 14 years, the Azerbaijani economy’s growth has tripled and the unemployment rate has dropped to 5 percent, according to the TV channel.

The currency reserves of Azerbaijan increased 23 times, the report said. It is also noted that over the past 14 years, a total of 12,300 kilometers of roads have been laid in Azerbaijan.

The authors of the report note that along with the development of the economy, the Azerbaijani army has also strengthened. Equipped with modern weapons, the Azerbaijani army liberated a territory of 2,000 hectares from the Armenian occupation overnight in April 2016, according to the report.

The report emphasizes that President Ilham Aliyev sent historic messages at the 6th Congress of the New Azerbaijan Party. The head of state stressed that the return to Yerevan - the historical land of Azerbaijan, which is currently the capital of Armenia - is a political and strategic goal, according to the TV channel.

In the conclusion of the report, it is noted that there is great faith in the victory of Ilham Aliyev in the presidential election to be held in Azerbaijan on April 11.
