Citizens of OIC states to get education grants in Azerbaijan

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree to provide grants to the citizens of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) member-states for their education in Azerbaijan's higher education institutions on December 6.
According to the decree, taking into account the special importance of cooperation with Islamic countries within the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, a program of educational grants is being created to support citizens of OIC member-states in education in Azerbaijani education institutions from 2018.
The number of people for whom educational grants are provided will annually increase by 20 and will be brought to 100 in five years.
