Azeri women’s volleyball club wins world champ
Azerbaijani women’s volleyball team Rabita has won the world championship after beating Turkey’s Vakifbank.
Rabita sealed a 3:0 win in the final match, played on Friday in the Qatari capital Doha.
In the run-up to the final, the Azerbaijani club beat Thailand’s Chang with 3:1 score, and sealed a 3:2 victory over Brazil’s Osasco.
