Azeri wrestler wins world championship in Turkey
ISTANBUL – Azerbaijani Greco-Roman wrestler Rovshan Bayramov has won the world championship held in Istanbul, Turkey.
Bayramov, competing in the 55 kg weight bracket, defeated Belarus’ Elbek Tajiyev in the final.
With his win, the wrestler qualifies for the 2012 summer Olympic Games to be held in London.
