Azeri gas exports to Georgia unaffected by pipeline leak
A gas leak in the Kazi-Magomed-Gazakh main gas pipeline will not affect Azerbaijani gas exports to Georgia, the Azerigas production association told Trend news agency on Monday.
"The leakage occurred on the pipeline to provide the population with gas," it said. "Therefore, this will have no effect on gas exports to Georgia. The pipeline operates in a normal mode."
Azerigaz said a special technique was used to eliminate leakage.
Azerigaz deals with transportation and natural gas sales issues in Azerbaijan.
