Aliyev to address Munich security conference
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev is due to address a security conference that started in Munich on Friday with the participation of leaders and top officials from around the world.
President Aliyev will focus in his speech on issues of energy, natural resources and environmental protection, the reports said.
Aliyev will also join a meeting on energy security with Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovich and EU Energy Commissioner Gunther Oettinger.
Besides the Azerbaijani and Ukrainian leaders, the Munich conference is to be attended by US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and other officials.
Delegations from a total of 70 countries are in attendance.
