Over 10,000 expats deported from Azerbaijan in 2011
Over 10,000 foreign nationals were deported from Azerbaijan in 2011, the immigration agency’s chief told a meeting devoted to year-end results on Thursday.
Arzu Rahimov said the State Migration Service revealed violations of administrative legislation by 12,530 foreigners last year.
2,338 foreign citizens were granted permission to reside in Azerbaijan after providing valid grounds in support of their application, according to Rahimov.
