Azeri parliament appeals to IOC
Azerbaijan Parliament (Milli Majlis) has adopted an appeal to the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to host the 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
An appropriate decision was adopted at the Wednesday meeting of Milli Majlis.
“The parliament states its positive stance on hosting the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Azerbaijan and calls on the International Olympic Committee to give OK to this end,” speaker Ogtay Asadov said.
