Book on Karabakh museums to be published

A book about Karabakh museums will be published in Azerbaijan. The agreement was reached during a meeting on Wednesday.

The directors of history museums in Jabrail, Kalbajar, Fizuli, Zangilan and Lachin attended the meeting.

Foundation for Freedom of Expression Executive Director Vugar Tofigli said that the main purpose of the meeting was to resolve the issue of publishing the first book about Karabakh museums.

It was stressed that the book is being prepared in the Azerbaijani language. But it is translated into English to present it abroad. The foreigners will get the accurate information about Karabakh historical museums.

A detailed list of exhibits remaining in the museums occupied by the Armenians will be drawn up while implementing this project. These exhibits will be evaluated.

Lachin History Museum Director Solmaz Maharramova stressed that besides the information about museums, the history about each Karabakh region will be given in this book.
