Fakhriya Khalafova awarded FASHION FOR EUROPE 2016 PHOTO

Famous Azerbaijani couturier Fakhriya Khalafova has been awarded FASHION FOR EUROPE 2016 for her professional and creative achievements in fashion and design field, Trend Life reported. A whole year the national designer will be honorable guest of fashion events held in Europe.
FASHION FOR EUROPE brings together European designers and brands in the world famous Vienna State Opera. In 2016, the international fashion highlight moved to the world famous Vienna State Opera. European designers and brands transformed the Opera house into an exclusive boutique and runway area and represented their nation.
Each brand represents its nation in this world famous building. Tradition meets trend in exclusive runway shows and showroom areas. Visitors have the possibility to actually shop the styles presented on site.
In her interview with Australian public service broadcaster (ORF) Khalafova shared her his secrets of success.
"The secret of my success lies in confidence and a special approach to the work, ingenuity and originality in process of creation that helps me to get high reviews. I pay special attention to the clothing which will fully represent Azerbaijani culture. The ideals of East and West are originally merged in my fashion collection", said the designer.
Khalafova went on to say that the popularity of evening dresses is increasing year by year, and will enjoy its peak popularity this year.
"Modern fashion dictates the latest trend, according to which festive image should be mysterious and romantic, brilliant and unique," said Khalafova.
Currently Fakhriya is the head of the Fashion and Design Centre. She is an author of collections, which were winners of various International awards (“Lider in prestige & quality” – europe 2006, Academician Yusif Mammadaliyev prize 2004, Meritorious Science Art 2006, Professional prize “Golden scissors-2007”). The couturier is also involved in such businesses as television, artistic photography, and advertising and creative brand development.
Her aspiration is focused to reflect all main features of current fashion trends: womanly, simplicity, naturalness.
The main credo in Fakhriya Khalafova’s fashion is nothing excessive, integrity of image and well thought-out design of costume.
