Gabala continues to delight music lovers

The traditional International Music Festival of Gabala, which has pleased world music loves for the past six years will take place again in Azerbaijan’s impressive Gabala region.

The 7th international music festival will showcase unforgettable music from July 25 to 31.

The festival, a collaborative project of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Culture and Tourism Ministry will bring together art collectives, soloists, and conductors from Azerbaijan and other countries.

Gabala is going to bring together many famous musicians across the globe including Ukraine, Italy, Spain, Austria, Germany, Russia, Croatia. and Israel.

The festival will feature such talented and popular musicians as Andrey Gavrilov, Oksana Yablonskaya, Can Carlo Pazolini, Janna Gandelman, Aleksandr Rojdestvenski, Jeremy Menuhin, Paul Meyer, Aleksandr Gindin, Taras Yaqopud and many other excellent performers.

The festival will also see performances by outstanding collectives, among them the Italian Symphony Orchestra, “Moscow virtuosos” Chamber Orchestra, Australian Academy Wiener Chamber Orchestra, “Flamenco” ensemble, and the “Dubrovnik Guitar Trio”.

As a celebration of friendship and music, the Gabala festival seeks to promote Azerbaijani music traditions throughout the world. It also invigorates intercultural dialogue and creates favorable conditions for cooperation among musicians representing different countries.

Last year the festival was attended by many world-renowned bands such as Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra, Israel "Brass quintet", "Kyiv Soloists" chamber orchestra and ballet of Tel Aviv.
