Heydar Aliyev Center welcomes visitors

Residents and visitors of Baku can enjoy exhibitions at the Heydar Aliyev Center this weekend, the press service of the Center reported.

The Center is now hosting various exhibitions. Here, visitors can become acquainted with an exhibit that houses artifacts reflecting different periods of life and the activities of national leader Heydar Aliyev.

In addition, visitors can see "Pearls of Azerbaijan: in the flow of history" and "Mini Azerbaijan,” dedicated to the culture, traditions and architecture of the country.

The Center also presents art pieces from all over the world. Here, one can see the works of Belgian artist Wim Delvoye, as well as prominent artists from Turkey, Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama, "Point of view" by British sculptor Tony Clegg, and "Parabolic Twist" by Anish Kapoor.

Moreover, the center is now hosting such exhibitions as "Grace Kelly: Princess and style icon," "Gazelles," and "Cracking art".

Visitors can get acquainted with the works of Jaume Plensa, Jean-Michel Othoniel, and Mariko Morin.

The exhibition of classic cars presents history of the auto industry.

The museum and exhibitions at the Heydar Aliyev Center are open from Tuesday to Friday - from 11.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m., and on Saturdays and Sundays - from 11.00 a.m. to 6 p.m. The ticket office is open from Tuesday to Friday - from 11.00 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on Saturday and Sunday - from 11.00 a.m. to 5 p.m.

On June 26-28, the exhibitions and the museum will operate from 11.00 a.m. to 6 p.m. The ticket office during these days will be opened from 11.00 a.m. to 5 p.m.
