Azerbaijani Culture Days due in Norway
Adish Mammadov, Azerbaijan`s Ambassador to Norway has met
Bjorgulv Vinje Borgundvaag, State Secretary to the Norwegian
Minister of Culture.
The parties discussed how to expand cultural and humanitarian
cooperation between the two countries, AzerTag state news agency
reported.
Mammadov highlighted the development of cultural sphere in
Azerbaijan, the country`s ancient history, art and literature.
He said the Days of Azerbaijani Culture would be held in Norway
in 2015, expressing confidence that this event would contribute to
developing relations between Azerbaijan and Norway.
Borgundvaag hailed the ongoing development processes in
Azerbaijan.
The State Secretary also praised the decision to hold the Days
of Azerbaijani Culture in Norway.
Azerbaijan and Norway have developed an increasingly strong
relationship since the beginning of the 1990s. The ties have been
growing especially in the field of energy with several Norwegian
companies being established in Baku.
