Azerbaijan is represented at the fair traditionally held on
Christmas Eve in the capital of France.
Chairman of “Azerbaijan house” in Paris Mirvari Fataliyeva said
that the fair held on the Christmas Day is one of the most loved
celebrities of the French.
Azerbaijan is represented at this event for the second year. The
main purpose is to introduce ancient history and rich culture of
Azerbaijan.
Azerbaijan’s corner was supported by Heydar Aliyev Foundation,
Azerbaijan Embassy in France and Azerbaijan Export and Investment
Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO).
Books and brochures about Azerbaijan’s history, culture, tourism
potential, nature, rich dishes, the first European Games 2015 to be
held in Baku and discs of national music samples are presented to
the visitors.
As well as silky headgear produced in Azerbaijan, small carpets,
jams, teas, different wine types, Novruz holiday ornaments
shakarbura and pakhlava sweets, gutab with meat and herbs also
presented at the event.
Of course, thanks to this kind of propaganda the French are already
well acquainted with Azerbaijan.
The fair will run until January 4, 2015.
