First Azerbaijan “Jeopardy!” game held in Baku

Baku hosted the first Azerbaijan "Jeopardy!" Game Cup. Organized by Club of Intellectual Games, the event was held on August 16-17.

The program included games like "Jeopardy!" games on sports; "Jeopardy!", "Quartet - Scrabble", "Tadem" on Azerbaijani theme and musical "Jeopardy!"

In "Jeopardy!" game on sport theme, Javid Badalbeyli and in "Quartet - Scrabble" a team composed of Turana Mammadova, Emilia Ismailova, Ashraf Pashabeyli and Elvin Ibrahimov took the first place.

The best ones in "Tandem" on Azerbaijani theme were Vugar Agayev and Shabnam Kheyrullayeva and in the musical "Jeopardy!" game, Urfan Orudjev.

President of Azerbaijan's Club of Intellectual Games Aydin Piriyev noted that the editors of the club prepared a real intellectual marathon and the games were held with the greatest interest.

He also said that "Jeopardy!" game will not be the last one and will be held annually.

The Azerbaijan's Club of Intellectual Games was established on April 29, 2012.

It periodically conducts various intellectual tournaments for teenagers and young people both in the capital and in the regions.

The club cooperates with the Azerbaijan Student Youth Organizations Union for the second season and implements synchronous championship in Azerbaijani and Russian languages ​​among the nine universities.

At the same time the club is a member of Azerbaijan's Intellectual Clubs Association.
