Azerbaijani films attend Int'l Festival of Muslim Cinema

Tenth International Festival of Muslim Cinema will be held in Kazan from September 5 to 11.
Films from member states of the International Organization of
Turkic Culture TURKSOY will be screened during the festival.
Films produced by Azerbaijan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan,
Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, as well as "Turkic" regions of Russia -
Tatarstan, Bashkortostan, Yakutia, Khakassia, Tuva, Altai will be
screened in "TURKSOY as part of "dialogue of cultures" program. The
program include sketches of ethnic and non-fiction films.
The International Organization of Turkic Culture is the
organization of countries Turkic population. It was founded in
1993.
The main purpose of the organization is enhancing cooperation between the Turkic people to preserve, develop and transmit common material and cultural monuments of Turkic people.
In 2014, Kazan received the transient status of the Turkic world cultural capital.
