Baku hosts Red Bull Thre3Style DJ Championship's national final

Red Bull Thre3Style World DJ Championship's national final, held on June 7, defined Azerbaijan's best DJ who will represent the country in September 2014 event.
Thus, DJ Twist will fight for the title of best DJ during the World DJ Championship, to be held in Baku in September, 2014.
Such Azerbaijani DJs as DJ Apple, DJ Amaori, DJ Progress, DJ Rimas, DJ Rasl also competed for the right to represent the country at the world finals.
They were evaluated by three music professionals and the following criteria: a set of tracks, technology, creativity, and, most importantly, the ability to kindle the audience.
Baku will host the 2014 edition of the Red Bull Thre3Style World DJ Championship, the event's organizers reported. The six-day event will bring together the best DJs from more than 20 countries, national winners of the championship's qualifying stages, a jury consisting of international DJ stars, and special guests.
Previous editions of the Red Bull Thre3Style World DJ Championship were held in Vancouver (2011), Chicago (2012), and Toronto (2013).
Red Bull Thre3style pits the world's best DJs in a competition that values technical skill as much as the ability to thrill a dance floor.
Competitors are judged on the dual platforms of technical ability and crowd reaction, and are given just 15 minutes each to prove they're the best in the room.
Thre3style's roots lie in Canada, but the idea behind the competition is global: get people dancing, keep the party vibes coming, and up your game until you're the DJ that brings the perfect set of music.
