A concert of "Prima" violin ensemble was held as part of an event organized by Jordanian Music House and the Azerbaijani embassy in Jordan.

Held in Amman-based Royal Cultural Center, the concert brought together Azerbaijani Ambassador Samir Agabekov, embassy officials, heads of diplomatic missions in Jordan and representatives of the Azerbaijan-Jordan friendship group under the Jordan Parliament.

Led by Teymur Ibrahimov, the ensemble performed excerpts from the "Path of Thunder", a ballet by Azerbaijan's legendary composer Gara Garayev, "Don Quixote" and "Mugamsayagi" symphonic engravings by Azerbaijani famous composer Asaf Zeynalli, and works by Brahms, Schubert, Rossini, Vivaldi, and Shostakovich.

The concert's solo part was performed by concertmaster of the Philharmonic Orchestra from Germany Anar Ibragimov.

Violin ensemble "Prima" was founded in 2011, and is the only musical group of such kind in the region.

Ibrahimov, who was born in Baku in 1958, attended the Baku Music College and Azerbaijan's National Conservatory. Throughout the years, he performed in the orchestra of the Azerbaijan State Philharmonic Hall.

Along with musical activities in Jordan, Ibrahimov performs with the Syrian National Symphony Orchestra. He's been a lecturer in Jordan University since 2009.
