Azerbaijani, German Academies of Arts establish co-op
Azerbaijan State Academy of Fine Arts and Berlin Weissensee School of Art have signed an agreement on cooperation, AzerTag state news agency reported.
The agreement was inked by Rector of Azerbaijan State Academy of Fine Arts Omar Eldarov and Rector of Berlin Weissensee School of Art Leonie Baumann in Baku.
The two higher educational institutions agreed to implement joint research projects, organize conferences, workshops and contests, and arrange exhibitions.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Eldarov said the agreement was aimed at expanding and deepening cooperation between Azerbaijan State Academy of Fine Arts and Berlin Weissensee School of Art.
Baumann, in turn, said the agreement was of great importance in terms of conducting the student and teacher exchange and developing creative skills of youth.
