Mustafa Sandal holds concert in Baku

World-famous Turkish singer Mustafa Sandal performed at the Heydar Aliyev Palace on April 5.
Being in Azerbaijan for the third time, the singer presented his concert program titled "Tesir Altında" (Under Influence), which was warmly welcomed by the audience.
Accompanied by a musical ensemble from Turkey, Mustafa Sandal sang songs from his new album and also hit songs like "All My Life", "Moonlight", and "İsyankar" (Prone to Escape), by which he conquered Europe.
"I'm extremely glad to visit Baku, one of my favorite cities, again," Sandal told reporters before the concert.
"I have not been to Baku for several years, and I can say that the city has changed, become more beautiful, modern," he said. "Due to the fact that I was a jury member of the musical contest 'O səs Türkiyə' two years in a row, I temporarily did not give concerts abroad. Now that I've left this show, I've decided to devote myself to my career."
Mustafa sandal told reporters that he is in love with the songs of luminaries of Azerbaijani art Rashid Behbudov and Zeynab Khanlarova.
Mustafa Sandal is a Turkish pop music singer-songwriter, record producer, dancer, businessman, and actor whose albums have sold over 20 million copies worldwide and have achieved diamond, platinum, and gold certifications in Turkey.
Sandal is considered one of Turkey's most important singers, since he emerged in the early 1990s with the revival of Turkish pop music.
His debut album ,"Suç Bende" (My Fault), released in 1994, became a best seller in Turkey. His success was secured by an impressive tour which included 140 concerts in Turkey and 30 in Europe. Since then, Mustafa has been recognized as one of Turkey's most successful singers and producers, who sold over 17 million copies of his albums worldwide and greatly expanded the geography of his concert performances.
Mustafa released his first album for Europe called "Maxi Sandal 2003 / Moonlight" in 2003. At the same year, he published another album called "Seven". Later, Mustafa produced two successful singles, "İste" (Necessity) and "İsyankar" (Prone to Escape), which went gold in Germany.
His songs have achieved leading positions on the charts in Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Germany, USA, Russia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the CIS countries at various times.
