The Heydar Aliyev Foundation plans to hold another event to promote Azerbaijani culture in Germany.

The foundation reported that the first event will be held in Stuttgart, considered one of the oldest cities of Europe with its own cultural traditions.

The event will be held in "Theaterhaus" in Stuttgart on November 14, with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Azerbaijani Consulate.

Theaterhaus is known as the venue of grand cultural events in Germany.

The concert program, consisting of works by Azerbaijani composers, will be presented at the event. Along with Farhad Badalbeyli and Murad Huseynov, German musicians will perform works of great Azerbaijani composers such as Gara Garayev, Fikret Amirov, Jovdat Hajiyev, Tofig Guliyev.

Painting and photo exhibitions will be organized during the event.

One of the stands, bringing together 19 paintings by talented young people, is called "Germany through the Eyes of an Artist".

Another stand will display the works that won exhibition contests on Germany held traditionally in Azerbaijan.

The concept of the exhibition contests is to present the works by young artists who have never been to Germany, but have drawn their paintings on the basis of their creative imagination.

Each year, three young winners of the contest that has been held since 2008 travel throughout Germany, visiting the galleries and museums in Berlin and participating in master classes of renowned German artists.

One more stand will showcase the photos of Germans who have been living in Azerbaijan since 19th century.

The photos show the activity and lifestyle of Siemens brothers who have built a copper smelter in the Gadabay region of Azerbaijan, the largest and most modern copper smelter in Europe, and thousands of their compatriots.

Earlier, the foundation held an evening of Azerbaijani culture in Munich in May, gathering about 900 guests. The event presented the photo-exhibition "Azerbaijan", books about Azerbaijan published by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in German and a CD with Azerbaijani music as well as Azerbaijani sweets.

In October, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation also started a new project to further popularize Azerbaijan in the regions of Italy.

The first event of the project was held in Florence, considered as one of the cultural centers of Italy.

The foundation also held a number of other cultural events aimed at promoting Azerbaijan's culture earlier in France.
